Warranty Return Policy

  1. VIPA Controls America Products are guaranteed to be in working condition and are warranted for two full years.

  2. The goods supplied by VIPA Controls America must be inspected immediately after handover. VIPA Controls America must be notified immediately after receipt and/or inspection of the delivery of any defects, the lack of guaranteed qualities, transport damage, shortfall quantity, wrong deliveries, etc. Possible hidden defects must be communicated to us in writing as soon as they have discovered.

  3. If the unit is found defective within 2 years of the invoice date, return it for a free replacement or repair. (If you need to make a warranty return claim please contact us at support@vipausa.com or call 678-880-6910 for a return authorization number (RMA#) prior to any return). All products sold by VIPA Controls America are warranted to our customer only and as follows: such products shall be free from material defect (under normal use, storage, handling, installation and other normal conditions) for a period of 2 years from the date of sale.

  4. In case of the following, any warranty and/or guarantee to which the company exceptionally consented shall be excluded, unless the defect was fraudulently concealed:
    • Damage or loss resulting from faulty installation made by the customer or third parties or caused by improper use or fire, lightning strike, force majeure, etc.
    • Repairs or repair attempts performed incorrectly or other interventions by the customers or other persons not authorized by VIPA.
    • Damage caused by the use of unsuitable or inferior replacement parts.
    • Damage resulting from wear, humidity, strong heating of rooms or other effects of weather and temperature.
    • Wear and tear parts.
    • In case of negligible deviation from the agreed characteristics, in case of negligible impairment of serviceability or in case the model presents only minor deviations from the specifications in catalogues, advertising materials, samples, etc.
    • Insufficient maintenance of the goods by the contractual partner.
  5. Our obligation shall be limited to the repair or replacement, at our choice, of any such defective product (or part thereof as we determine) free of charge to our customer; if we decide that the product cannot be repaired or replaced, we shall credit your account in an amount equal to the sum you paid us for it.

  6. Any warranty claim must be received before the end of the 2 year warranty period, together with return of the claimed defective product within this same period, and must include our return authorization number (RMA#).   7. Return shipping is the responsibility of the end user. VIPA Controls America will ship the item back using standard ground shipping. Expedited shipping can be requested if necessary.

  8. This warranty is given in lieu of any other warranties, either express or implied, including that we disclaim any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and/or non-infringement. In no event shall we be liable for any damages except actual damages up to, but not exceeding, the amount paid to us for the product, including we shall not be liable for any consequential or indirect damages or lost profits whether or not advised of same.

Out of Warranty Repair Policy

  1. VIPA Controls America products that are no longer within their 2 year warranty may be returned for repair and must be accompanied by a VIPA Controls America return authorization number (RMA#). (If you need to request a Out of Warranty repair please contact us at support@vipausa.com or call 678-880-6910 for a return authorization number (RMA#) prior to any return).

  2. Repairs requiring less than 1/2 hour of labor will be free of charge.

  3. Repairs requiring more than 1/2 hour of labor shall be subject to a repair fee of $150 per hour, billed in 1/2 hour increments with a 1 hour minimum.

  4. Material costs will be billed at current retail price.

  5. VIPA Controls America will provide a written estimate for any repair costs in excess of $50. The end user must approve the request with a written purchase order sent to support@vipausa.com.

  6. Return shipping is the responsibility of the end user. VIPA Controls America will ship the item back using standard ground shipping. Expedited shipping can be requested if necessary.
